The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70MD336 is a Dash 336 Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring with a 2.875-inch inside diameter, 3.25-inch outside diameter, and a 0.1875-inch (3/16-inch) thick round cross section. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, it delivers reliable sealing performance in applications involving petroleum-based fluids. Operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of service conditions. Licensed trades and maintenance professionals install this O-ring in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems where a dependable static or dynamic face seal is required. Each package contains 2 O-rings.
This Dash 336 O-ring is well suited for use in HVAC refrigerant-adjacent assemblies, plumbing fittings, hydraulic manifolds, and general industrial fluid systems where petroleum product exposure is expected. Its Buna-N elastomer construction provides excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and petroleum-based lubricants, making it a go-to sealing solution for technicians servicing pumps, valves, compressors, and pipe fittings in both residential and commercial settings. The round cross-section profile seats cleanly into standard Dash 336 O-ring grooves without special tooling.
Designed for use in applications compatible with petroleum products and Buna-N elastomers. Fits standard Dash 336 O-ring groove dimensions per industry standard sizing. Not recommended for use with ozone, strong acids, ketones, esters, or chlorinated solvents. Should not be stored near motors or other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, or in direct sunlight.
Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals typically install this O-ring during pump, valve, or fitting service. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible petroleum-based or system-appropriate lubricant before seating to prevent pinching or tearing during installation. Inspect the groove for nicks or debris before installing the new ring.
