The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70FDA136 is a Dash 136 Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring with a round cross section, sold in a pack of 10. It measures 1.9870 inches inside diameter, 2.1880 inches outside diameter, and 0.0937 inches (3/32 inches) thick. Hardness is rated at 70 Shore A, placing it in the hard range. The compound is FDA approved and white in color, making it suitable for food-grade and sanitary fluid system applications. This O-ring is installed by plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical technicians working on hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems that contact petroleum-based media.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and general industrial applications where a petroleum-compatible seal is required. The Buna-N elastomer is the most widely used O-ring material in trade service and performs reliably in static and dynamic sealing applications. Its FDA approval makes it appropriate for potable water and food-processing environments. Compatible with petroleum products, it is a common replacement seal in valves, pumps, fittings, and fluid connectors across plumbing and mechanical systems. The pack quantity of 10 supports service stock and small-batch repairs.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based fluids. Designed as an OEM-style replacement seal for valves, pumps, fittings, and fluid connectors requiring a Dash 136 O-ring in Buna-N elastomer. Not recommended for use with ozone-generating environments, direct sunlight exposure, or near electrical equipment that may produce ozone.
O-ring installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified mechanical technicians. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing any fitting or valve that retains the O-ring. Inspect the groove for burrs or scoring before seating the new ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and reduce the risk of tearing. Do not store unused O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors and other equipment that may generate ozone, as this degrades the elastomer.
