The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70FDA032 is a Dash 032 nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) O-ring sold in a pack of 10. It features a 1.864-inch inside diameter, a 2.000-inch outside diameter, and a 1/16-inch (0.0625-inch) round cross section. Hardness is rated at 70 Shore A, placing it in the hard rating category. This O-ring carries FDA approval and meets both SAE and MIL-Spec standards, making it suitable for applications where material compliance is required. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical service professionals commonly use NBR O-rings as sealing elements in fluid and gas system connections.
NBR is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in trade applications due to its resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, and fuels. This Dash 032 O-ring is sized for use in standard AN/MS dash-numbered port and fitting configurations. It performs across a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, covering most residential and light commercial mechanical system environments. The white color and FDA-approved compound make it appropriate for use in food-grade or sanitary plumbing applications where standard black NBR would not meet regulatory requirements.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based fluids. Designed as a standard Dash 032 replacement O-ring for use in plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and mechanical fitting applications requiring an NBR elastomer. Do not use with ozone-generating equipment or in direct sunlight storage conditions.
Power down or depressurize the system fully before replacing any O-ring in a pressurized line or fitting. Clean the seating groove and mating surfaces before installation to prevent contamination and ensure proper sealing. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid before installation to reduce the risk of rolling or tearing during assembly. Follow applicable plumbing or mechanical codes, such as IPC or ASME standards, for the specific application.
