The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70FDA010 is a Dash 010 Buna-N (nitrile butadiene rubber) O-ring with a round cross section, sized at 0.25 inches inside diameter, 0.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, it is FDA approved and meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards. This O-ring delivers excellent resistance to petroleum products along with strong compression set, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance. It is sold in a package of 25 and is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors in fluid and gas sealing applications across a wide range of systems.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant circuits, hydraulic assemblies, and any application involving petroleum-based fluids. Its FDA-approved white Buna-N compound makes it appropriate for food-processing equipment and potable water systems where material compliance is required. The operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F covers the majority of mechanical sealing environments encountered in the trades. It is a general-purpose sealing solution stocked by technicians as a standard repair consumable.
Designed as a standard Dash 010 O-ring replacement compatible with petroleum products and applications requiring FDA-approved Buna-N elastomer. Not recommended for use with ozone-generating environments, direct sunlight exposure, or near motors and electrical equipment that may produce ozone.
O-rings in this size range are installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system mechanics. Always depressurize and drain the system before removing or replacing any sealing component. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible grease or fluid prior to installation to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Inspect the seating groove for nicks or debris before seating the new O-ring.
