The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70367 is a Dash 367 nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and pneumatic systems. It measures 7.5 inches inside diameter by 7.875 inches outside diameter with a 0.1875-inch round cross section and a Shore A hardness of 70. The NBR compound delivers reliable resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, and fuels, making it a standard choice for plumbing, HVAC, and industrial maintenance work. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics install this ring where a dependable, cost-effective elastomeric seal is required.
This O-ring fits sealing applications that involve petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, and general-purpose oils. The Dash 367 designation corresponds to a standard AS568 size, so it drops into any groove machined to that specification. Typical use cases include pump housings, valve bonnets, cylinder end caps, and pipe flange seals in residential and light commercial systems where operating temperatures fall between -40 degrees F and 250 degrees F.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance seal for any groove machined to the AS568 Dash 367 standard, with compatibility confirmed for applications involving petroleum-based fluids and hydraulic oils. Not recommended for use with ozone-rich environments or near electrical equipment generating ozone.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the system, then drain any fluid from the affected assembly before removing the old ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating it in the groove to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Do not store unused rings in direct sunlight or near motors and other equipment that may generate ozone, as ozone degrades NBR compounds.
