The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70326 is a Dash 326 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It measures 1.625 inches inside diameter by 2.000 inches outside diameter with a 3/16-inch (0.1875 inch) round cross section and a Shore hardness of 70. The Buna-N compound delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, good compression set characteristics, and solid tear and abrasion resistance. Licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and HVAC service techs rely on this O-ring for sealing fuel, oil, and refrigerant-adjacent connections in a wide range of mechanical systems.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications where petroleum-product compatibility is required. Typical uses include hydraulic fittings, fuel system components, valve stems, pump housings, and plumbing connections exposed to oils, fuels, and general-purpose fluids. The temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F makes it appropriate for both ambient and moderately elevated temperature service conditions. It meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards. This item is sold as a package of 50 pieces with a minimum order quantity of one package.
Compatible with petroleum products including oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. Designed as a standard Dash 326 replacement O-ring for use in any gland or groove machined to Dash 326 specifications per SAE and MIL-Spec dimensional standards. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact or potable-water service.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, or HVAC technicians as part of valve, fitting, or pump service. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant prior to installation to prevent tearing during assembly. Avoid rolling or twisting the O-ring into the groove; seat it evenly to ensure a proper seal.
