The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70325 is a Dash 325 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It measures 1.5 inches inside diameter, 1.875 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick, with a round cross section. The material is rated at 70 Shore A hardness and is designed to handle working temperatures from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, hydraulic system technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this type of seal in fluid-handling assemblies where petroleum-based media compatibility is required.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing, hydraulic circuits, pneumatic fittings, and mechanical assemblies where a standard Dash 325 seal is specified. Its Buna-N construction offers reliable performance in contact with petroleum-based oils, fuels, and lubricants. The part is packaged in quantities of 50, making it practical for shop-stock and service truck inventory. It meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards and is intended for static and dynamic sealing applications across a broad range of trade environments.
Compatible with petroleum-based products including oils, fuels, and lubricants. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service-stock seal for any assembly specifying a Dash 325 O-ring in Buna-N or equivalent NBR material.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system technicians depending on the application. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old seal, and clean the seating surface thoroughly to prevent leakage. Apply a compatible petroleum-based lubricant to the O-ring during installation to ease seating and reduce the risk of tearing. Do not store unused O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors and other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as this degrades the elastomer.
