The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70323 is a Dash 323 Buna-N O-ring designed for sealing applications in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid systems. It measures 1.313 inches inside diameter and 1.688 inches outside diameter with a 0.1875-inch (3/16 inch) round cross-section thickness. Manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) at a Shore A hardness of 70, this O-ring delivers reliable compression set resistance and strong resistance to petroleum-based fluids. Licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and industrial mechanics install this type of seal to prevent fluid leakage at fittings, valves, and bore interfaces. Each package contains 25 pieces.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic tooling, and general industrial fluid-system maintenance where petroleum product exposure is expected. Its temperature rating spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for a wide range of service environments. The Buna-N compound is the most widely deployed O-ring elastomer in trade use due to its balance of cost, chemical compatibility, and mechanical durability. It is not intended for use with ozone-generating environments, strong solvents, or direct sunlight storage.
Designed as a standard Dash 323 replacement O-ring compatible with petroleum-based fluid systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing assemblies that use AS568 standard groove dimensions for the 323 dash size.
De-pressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any O-ring seal. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible petroleum-based or system-approved grease before seating to prevent rolling and tearing during assembly. Avoid storing Buna-N O-rings near electric motors, ozone-generating equipment, or in direct sunlight, as ozone and UV exposure degrade NBR over time. Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, or qualified maintenance mechanics following applicable system service procedures.
