The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70237 is a Dash 237 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in sealing applications. It measures 3.375 inches inside diameter, 3.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, this O-ring delivers strong compression set resistance along with excellent tear and abrasion resistance. It is sold in a package of 50 units and suits plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid-handling applications where petroleum-based media are present. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance professionals install these as static or dynamic seals in fittings, valves, pumps, and manifolds.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial systems handling petroleum-based fluids, oils, fuels, and hydraulic media. Its operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for both refrigeration-adjacent piping and hot-fluid circuits. Typical installations include valve bodies, pipe unions, pump housings, and hydraulic fittings where a reliable, compression-style face or radial seal is required. The 50-piece pack supports service shops and field technicians who carry common seal sizes as stock items.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service-stock seal for any application requiring a Dash 237 O-ring groove. Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, and fuels. Not recommended for use with ozone, strong oxidizers, or ketone-based fluids. Store away from direct sunlight and ozone-generating equipment such as motors and electrical devices.
O-rings of this type are installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics. Always depressurize and drain the system before replacing any seal. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or assembly lubricant before seating it in the groove to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Inspect the groove for burrs or damage before installation, and never reuse a removed O-ring.
