The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70010 is a Dash 010 Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring with a round cross section, designed for sealing applications across HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-system service work. It measures 0.25 inches inside diameter, 0.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. With a Shore hardness rating of 70 and a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this O-ring handles the thermal and pressure demands typical of refrigerant, petroleum, and hydraulic fluid connections. Licensed technicians and trade plumbers use these as replacement seals in fittings, valves, and service ports. Each package contains 100 pieces.
This O-ring is suited for residential and light commercial applications wherever a Dash 010 seal is called for. Common install scenarios include service valve rebuilds, refrigeration fitting connections, hydraulic fittings, and plumbing shutoff valve stems. The NBR compound offers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, making it a standard choice for oil lines, fuel systems, and refrigerant service work. It is not recommended for exposure to ozone, direct sunlight during storage, or environments with strong oxidizing agents.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based fluids. Designed as a standard Dash 010 O-ring replacement for use in any fitting, valve, or port that accepts a 0.25 inches ID round-cross-section seal. Not FDA approved for food-contact applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or fluid-system mechanics. Always isolate and de-pressurize the system and recover any refrigerant before replacing seals at service ports or valve connections. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible lubricant prior to seating to prevent rolling or tearing during assembly. Do not store unused O-rings near motors, electrical equipment, or in direct sunlight, as ozone and UV exposure degrade NBR compounds over time.
