The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH2X3 is a round-cross-section O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid-sealing applications. It measures 3 inches inside diameter, 7 inches outside diameter, and 2 inches thick. Rated for service from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this O-ring delivers reliable sealing performance across a broad temperature range. Its Buna-N compound provides excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, strong compression set recovery, and solid tear and abrasion resistance. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics rely on Buna-N O-rings for sealing hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel-side connections.
This O-ring is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications where contact with petroleum products, oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids is expected. Common install scenarios include pump housings, valve assemblies, pipe flanges, and hydraulic cylinder end caps in both residential and light commercial settings. The large cross-section diameter of 2 inches makes this part appropriate for heavy-duty gland designs requiring a substantial seal profile. Sold in a package quantity of 100, this SKU supports shop stocking and service fleet replenishment.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, fuels, and similar hydrocarbon-based fluids. Not recommended for use with ozone, strong oxidizers, ketones, esters, or chlorinated solvents. Do not store near direct sunlight, motors, or electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial mechanic familiar with gland-seal design. Always depressurize and drain the system before removing or installing O-rings. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease prior to seating to prevent rolling and tearing during assembly. Inspect the gland groove for burrs, corrosion, or debris before installing the new seal.
