The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCFS016 is a fluorosilicone O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing in systems that demand reliable performance across extreme temperature ranges and exposure to petroleum-based fluids. With a 0.614-inch inside diameter, 0.75-inch outside diameter, and a 0.0625-inch thick round cross section, this Dash 016 O-ring seats precisely in standard groove profiles. Rated for service from -80 degrees F to 400 degrees F, it handles both cryogenic-adjacent cold starts and sustained high-heat environments. The Shore 70 hardness rating provides a firm seal without excessive compression force. Each package contains 5 O-rings. This part is installed by licensed HVAC technicians, aerospace mechanics, fuel system technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals.
The ZMSCFS016 is suited for fuel systems, diester-base lubricant circuits, and any application requiring simultaneous resistance to low and high temperatures. Its fluorosilicone compound performs well in aerospace fuel system sealing, hydraulic circuits using petroleum oils, and ground support equipment. It is compliant with MIL-R-25988 Type 1 Class 1, making it acceptable for military and aerospace procurement specifications. Because of its limited abrasion resistance, it is best applied in low-friction or static sealing positions rather than high-wear dynamic applications.
Compatible with petroleum products including oils and fuels. Suitable for aerospace fuel systems and circuits using diester-base lubricants rated to 350 degrees F. Not recommended for high-abrasion or high-wear dynamic sealing applications due to limited strength and abrasion resistance.
Install by a qualified technician following applicable system shutdown and lockout/tagout procedures before O-ring replacement. Inspect the groove for burrs, corrosion, or contamination before seating the new O-ring. Apply a compatible lubricant sparingly to aid installation and prevent twisting or rolling. Do not stretch the O-ring excessively during installation, as fluorosilicone compounds have lower tensile strength than standard silicone or nitrile alternatives.
