The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70154 is a Dash 154 EPDM O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid handling, plumbing, and hydraulic systems. It measures 3.75 inches inside diameter, 3.938 inches outside diameter, and 0.0937 inches thick, with a round cross-section profile and a 70 Shore A hardness rating. Made from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) compound, this O-ring maintains a reliable seal across a service temperature range of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F. Each purchase includes 15 O-rings. This part is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals working on systems that carry hot water, steam, or phosphate ester hydraulic fluids.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications involving hot water service lines, steam distribution, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid systems. Its EPDM compound also provides excellent resistance to Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems, making it a crossover choice for aerospace ground support and MRO applications. The Dash 154 designation is a standard AS568 size, enabling straightforward replacement in existing grooved fittings, valve bodies, and pump housings designed to that specification.
Designed as a standard AS568 Dash 154 replacement O-ring for use in systems handling hot water, steam, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids. Compatible with fittings, valve bodies, and housings machined to the Dash 154 groove specification.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system technicians. Before replacing any O-ring, shut off the fluid supply, relieve system pressure completely, and allow components to reach a safe handling temperature. Inspect the groove for nicks, corrosion, or debris before seating the new O-ring. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with EPDM O-rings, as they can cause the compound to swell and degrade; use a compatible water-based or silicone lubricant approved for EPDM service.
