The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70003 is a Dash 003 EPDM O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems. Constructed from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber with a round cross section and a Shore A hardness of 70, this O-ring seals reliably across a wide service temperature range of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F. The inside diameter measures 0.0625 inches, the outside diameter measures 0.188 inches, and the wall thickness is 0.0625 inches. Each order includes 100 O-rings, making this package well suited for service trucks, maintenance shops, and repair benches that require consistent stock of common seal sizes.
This O-ring is appropriate for hot water systems, steam lines, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid circuits. It is also rated for compatibility with Skydrol hydraulic fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems. In HVAC and plumbing trades, EPDM O-rings at this size are commonly used in valve packing, fitting connections, solenoid valve bodies, and pump seal assemblies where water or steam exposure is expected. The Dash 003 designation follows the standard AS568 sizing system, making cross-referencing to other supplier catalogs straightforward.
Compatible with hot water, steam, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid systems. Also recommended for applications involving Skydrol fluids in commercial aircraft hydraulic circuits. Designed as a standard Dash 003 EPDM O-ring for use wherever that size and material specification is called out.
O-ring replacement is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified maintenance personnel. Always depressurize the system and shut off fluid supply before removing old seals. Inspect the O-ring groove for wear, scoring, or contamination prior to installing the new seal. Avoid twisting the O-ring during installation, and do not use petroleum-based lubricants with EPDM material, as they can cause swelling and seal failure.
