The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCA80029 is an Aflas O-ring with a 1.5-inch inside diameter, 1.625-inch outside diameter, and a 0.0625-inch cross-section thickness. Aflas is a fluoroelastomer compound known for its resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and refrigerants, making it a preferred sealing material in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and industrial fluid systems. This O-ring carries a Shore A hardness rating of 80 and operates across a temperature range of 25 to 450 degrees F. It ships in a package quantity of 6. Licensed tradespeople working with refrigeration circuits, hydraulic assemblies, or chemical fluid systems will find this a dependable sealing solution.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, hydraulic circuits, and plumbing assemblies where chemical resistance is a priority. It seals effectively against refrigeration fluids, hydraulic oils, fuels, brake fluids, acetic acid, animal oils, and base compounds. The round cross-section profile seats into standard Dash 029 groove geometry. It is appropriate wherever an Aflas compound is specified in place of standard nitrile or neoprene seals due to elevated temperature or chemical exposure requirements.
Compatible with systems and fluids including acetic acid, animal oils, bases, brake fluids, fuels, hydraulic oil, and refrigeration fluids. Designed as a Dash 029 O-ring replacement for any application specifying Aflas compound in a 1.5-inch ID groove.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or industrial mechanics. Always depressurize and isolate the circuit before replacing O-rings — this includes recovering refrigerant from sealed systems in compliance with EPA Section 608 requirements. Inspect the groove for scoring or debris before seating the new O-ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to aid installation without twisting or distorting the cross-section. Do not over-compress the seal beyond the groove design specification.
