The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCA80019 is a Dash 019 Aflas O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in demanding service environments. Constructed from Aflas (TFE/P) elastomer with a durometer hardness of 80, this O-ring provides reliable compression set resistance and strong performance across a wide temperature range of 25 to 450 degrees F. The round cross-section measures 0.813 inches inner diameter, 0.938 inches outer diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals use Aflas O-rings where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds fall short due to chemical or thermal exposure.
This O-ring is suited for sealing applications involving refrigeration fluids including Freon-type refrigerants, hydraulic oils, fuels, brake fluids, acetic acid, animal oils, and bases. Its Aflas compound offers moderate resistance to petroleum products along with good ozone and weather resistance, making it a practical choice for both refrigeration service work and chemical processing environments. It is sold in packages of 10 and carries a black color finish. This part is commonly specified in HVAC refrigerant circuit repairs, hydraulic systems, and fluid-handling assemblies where elevated temperature and chemical compatibility are required.
Compatible with sealing applications involving acetic acid, animal oils, bases, brake fluids, fuels, hydraulic oil, and refrigeration fluids such as Freon-type refrigerants. Designed as an OEM-style replacement O-ring for any system requiring a Dash 019 Aflas seal with 0.813 inches ID and 0.938 inches OD.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or qualified maintenance personnel. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the existing O-ring, and follow applicable codes such as ASHRAE 15, IFGC, or IPC depending on the system type. Inspect the seating groove for damage or contamination before installing the new O-ring. Apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and prevent twisting or damage to the cross-section during assembly.
