The VALUE COLLECTION ZBDMP9336 is a nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) o-ring with a 16-inch inner diameter and a 2.5-inch cross-section thickness. It features a round cross-section profile and a hardness rating of 70 Shore A. NBR compound makes this o-ring well-suited for petroleum-based fluid, oil, and gas sealing applications across a wide temperature range. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of seal in flanged connections, valve bodies, and large-diameter pipe assemblies where a reliable static or low-cycle dynamic seal is required.
This o-ring is appropriate for use in large-diameter fluid system applications including industrial plumbing, hydraulic equipment, and mechanical sealing assemblies. Its NBR construction resists degradation from petroleum oils, fuels, and many hydraulic fluids. The rated temperature window of -40 degrees F to 275 degrees F makes it suitable for both cold-weather and elevated-temperature service environments. This SKU is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement o-ring for large-diameter flanged connections, valve bodies, and pipe assemblies requiring a 16-inch ID NBR round cross-section seal.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified maintenance technicians. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing the old o-ring or installing a new one. Inspect the mating groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion that could compromise the seal. Lightly lubricate the o-ring with a compatible grease before seating to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly.
