The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD9993-14 is a Dash 241 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) with a round cross section. It measures 3.88 inches inside diameter, 4.13 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick. NBR compound delivers reliable sealing performance across a wide temperature range, from -40 degrees F to 275 degrees F, making it well suited for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid system applications where petroleum-based fluids or oils are present. The 70 durometer hardness rating provides a firm, consistent seal under compression. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals commonly install this O-ring in sealing assemblies requiring a Dash 241 size standard.
This O-ring is used in residential and commercial applications wherever a Dash 241 sealing element is required. Typical installation scenarios include pump housings, valve bodies, hydraulic cylinders, and fluid fittings that handle oil, fuel, or water-based fluids. The NBR material performs well in contact with petroleum oils, diesel fuel, and most hydraulic fluids. It is not recommended for use with highly aromatic fuels, ketones, or chlorinated solvents. This part is sold in individual unit packaging with a minimum order quantity of 25 units.
Designed as a standard Dash 241 replacement O-ring for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and fluid handling assemblies that accept a 3.88 inches ID by 4.13 inches OD by 0.125 inches thick round cross-section sealing element.
O-rings of this type are installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics as part of valve, pump, or fitting seal service. Before installation, shut off fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating it to prevent tearing or twisting during assembly. Inspect the groove for nicks or burrs that could compromise the seal before installing the replacement.
