Value Collection ZBD9977-6X O-ring Dash 023 Nbr

Product Description

The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD9977-6X is a Dash 023 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) with a round cross section. It measures 1.0600 inches inside diameter, 1.1900 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. NBR compound delivers reliable sealing performance in oil, fuel, and hydraulic fluid environments. The 70 durometer hardness rating balances flexibility and compression resistance. This O-ring is suited for plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-handling assemblies where a standard Dash 023 replacement seal is required. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system mechanics are the primary installers of this part type.

This O-ring fits applications calling for a Dash 023 standard-size seal in residential and light commercial systems. Typical use cases include valve stems, fittings, pump housings, and refrigeration service ports where an NBR compound is compatible with the media present. The working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 275 degrees F makes it suitable for a broad range of fluid and gas service conditions. Always verify media compatibility before installation to confirm NBR is appropriate for the specific fluid or refrigerant in the system.

• Compact profile: 1.0600 inches ID x 1.1900 inches OD x 0.0625 inches thick

Compatibility

Designed as a standard Dash 023 O-ring replacement for valve, fitting, and pump applications requiring a Nitrile Butadiene Rubber seal with a round cross section.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system mechanics during valve service, fitting replacement, or pump rebuilds. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing the old seal. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant before seating it in the groove to reduce the risk of tearing during assembly. Do not over-stretch the ring during installation.
