The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD9500-214 is a Dash 214 Viton O-ring with a round cross section, used as a static or dynamic sealing element in fluid and pneumatic systems. It measures 1 inch inside diameter, 1.25 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches in thickness. Viton (fluoroelastomer) construction provides strong resistance to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and a wide range of chemicals. The material maintains its seal integrity across a working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding service environments. Hardness is rated at 75 Shore A, classified as hard. This O-ring is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, hydraulic system technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals.
The ZBD9500-214 is suited for sealing applications in HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, hydraulic assemblies, fuel handling systems, and industrial machinery where exposure to petroleum-based fluids or elevated temperatures is a factor. The Dash 214 designation is a standard AS568 size, commonly specified in OEM maintenance manuals and parts lists for groove-fitted static and dynamic seals. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 25 units.
Designed as a standard AS568 Dash 214 replacement O-ring for use in any application specifying a Dash 214 Viton seal with a 1 inch inside diameter, 1.25 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inch cross section thickness.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified industrial mechanics depending on the application. Before replacing any O-ring, fully depressurize and de-energize the system, and drain or isolate any fluid lines to prevent exposure hazards. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating to reduce the risk of tearing during installation. Inspect the mating groove for burrs, corrosion, or debris before inserting the new seal.
