The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD9500-020 is a Dash 020 Viton O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in demanding service environments. With an inside diameter of 0.880 inches, an outside diameter of 1 inch, and a cross-section thickness of 0.0625 inches (1/16 inch), this round-profile seal delivers reliable compression sealing where chemical resistance and wide temperature tolerance are required. Viton (fluoroelastomer) construction provides superior resistance to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and many solvents compared to standard Buna-N compounds. The 75 Shore A hardness rating gives the ring enough firmness to resist extrusion under pressure while maintaining a reliable seal face.
This O-ring is suited for use in HVAC equipment, plumbing assemblies, refrigeration systems, hydraulic circuits, and general industrial or mechanical applications where Viton compound is specified. It is appropriate for installations exposed to elevated temperatures or aggressive fluid media. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals commonly use Dash 020 O-rings as replacement seals in valves, fittings, compressor service ports, and fluid connectors. The minimum working temperature is -15 degrees F and the maximum working temperature is 400 degrees F, making this ring suitable for a wide range of service conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service seal for any application calling for a Dash 020 O-ring in Viton compound with a 0.880 inch inside diameter and 0.0625 inch cross-section thickness.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the host system — HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, or refrigeration. Before replacing an O-ring, shut off and relieve all system pressure, and discharge or recover any refrigerant or fluid media per applicable codes. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible lubricant before installation to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with Viton seals unless confirmed compatible with the system fluid.
