The VALUE COLLECTION WS-MH-WIRE-007 is a 5/32-inch diameter galvanized aircraft cable constructed in a 1 x 19 single-strand configuration. It carries a rated breaking strength of 3,300 pounds, making it suitable for tension-critical rigging, suspension, and restraint applications. The cable is sold in 1-foot increments with a minimum order of 100 feet, drawn from a 1,000-foot coil. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor use. Contractors, riggers, and maintenance technicians working with cable assemblies, tensioning systems, or structural tie-back installations will find this cable appropriate for load-bearing and safety-line configurations.
This aircraft cable is used across a range of commercial and industrial applications including HVAC equipment hanging, overhead fixture suspension, mechanical restraint systems, and light structural rigging. The 1 x 19 strand configuration offers low stretch and high rigidity compared to more flexible multi-strand constructions, which makes it well suited for static tension runs where minimal cable movement is desired. It is applicable in both new construction and retrofit scenarios where a galvanized steel tension member is required.
Designed for use with standard 5/32-inch aircraft cable hardware including swage fittings, cable clamps, turnbuckles, and thimbles rated for 1 x 19 strand construction and compatible with the 3,300-pound breaking strength class.
Installation should be performed by qualified riggers or tradespeople familiar with wire rope and aircraft cable termination practices. Always de-energize and secure any connected load before replacing or repositioning a cable run. Use only fittings, swage terminals, and clamps rated for 5/32-inch 1 x 19 cable — do not substitute hardware sized for 7 x 7 or 7 x 19 constructions, as grip and retention values differ. Inspect terminations and the cable for kinking, birdcaging, or corrosion before placing the assembly into service.
