The VALUE COLLECTION WS-MH-CHN-040 is a Grade 30 welded proof coil chain rated for 1,300 pounds working load capacity. At 141 feet in length with a 1/4 inch nominal link diameter, this chain is built for general-purpose rigging, load securement, towing, and tie-down applications. The zinc-plated finish provides a baseline level of corrosion resistance for outdoor and industrial environments. Each link is welded, providing consistent strength along the full run of the chain. This chain is a standard stock item handled by riggers, contractors, and equipment operators across construction, agriculture, and general industrial trades.
This chain is suited for general-purpose securing and pulling tasks where a Grade 30 proof coil specification meets the load requirement. Typical applications include trailer tie-downs, farm and agricultural equipment securing, light towing, and general shop or yard use. The 141-foot continuous length allows field cutting to custom run lengths as needed for the application. It is not rated for overhead lifting where Grade 43 or higher is required by applicable safety standards.
Designed as a general-purpose Grade 30 proof coil chain compatible with standard 1/4 inch chain fittings, hooks, and connectors rated for Grade 30 or lower applications.
Installation and securement work should follow applicable OSHA load securement regulations and DOT tie-down requirements for the intended application. Always verify that hooks, shackles, and connectors used with this chain are rated at or above the chain working load limit. Do not use Grade 30 proof coil chain for overhead lifting — overhead lifting requires Grade 43 or Grade 70 chain at minimum per ASME B30 standards. Inspect each link for deformation, corrosion, or cracking before each use and retire the chain if damage is found.
