The VALUE COLLECTION TSPTFE050003150 is a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tube used in fluid transfer, pneumatic, and chemical conveyance applications across plumbing, HVAC, and industrial service work. The tube measures 7/16 inches inside diameter and 1/2 inch outside diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.030 inches (approximately 1/32 inch). It is supplied in natural white and sold in 1-foot increments from a 50-foot coil, with a 10-foot minimum cut length. PTFE material provides excellent chemical resistance and low friction, making it suitable for use with corrosive media, refrigerants, and high-purity fluid lines. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance technicians install this tubing where standard polymer or rubber tube is not rated for the application.
This PTFE tube is appropriate for residential and commercial service environments where chemical compatibility and temperature resistance are required. Common applications include refrigeration system capillary protection, chemical dosing lines, compressed air systems, and instrument tubing runs. The natural white color and smooth bore support visual inspection and low-friction flow. It is well suited for HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance trades working with aggressive fluids or high-purity conveyance requirements.
Designed as a general-purpose PTFE tubing solution for fluid transfer, pneumatic, and chemical conveyance systems requiring chemical-resistant, low-friction tube in 7/16 inch ID by 1/2 inch OD sizing.
This tubing is typically installed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or industrial maintenance personnel. Shut off all fluid, air, or refrigerant pressure in the line before cutting or connecting tubing. Use a clean, sharp tube cutter or razor blade to achieve a square cut and prevent deformation of the bore. Ensure all fittings are rated for PTFE and compatible with the media being conveyed before placing the line into service.
