The VALUE COLLECTION TSPTFE025006250 is a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tube designed for use in fluid handling, pneumatic, and chemical transfer applications across multiple trades. With a 1/8 inch inside diameter and 1/4 inch outside diameter, this tubing offers a wall thickness of 1/16 inch (0.0620 inches decimal). The natural white color indicates virgin PTFE material, which provides excellent chemical resistance, low friction, and a wide operating temperature range. It is sold in 1-foot increments with a 10-foot minimum cut length and comes in a 50-foot standard coil. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals commonly use this tubing for refrigerant-compatible fittings, chemical lines, and instrumentation runs.
This PTFE tube is suited for residential and commercial applications where chemical compatibility, pressure resistance, or temperature tolerance is required. Common uses include drain and vent connections, chemical feed lines in water treatment systems, pneumatic instrument tubing, and low-pressure fluid transfer in HVAC and plumbing systems. The tubing is flexible enough for routing in tight spaces and can be cut to length in the field. Its smooth interior bore also reduces flow restriction and buildup in fluid-carrying applications.
Designed as a general-purpose PTFE tube suitable for fluid handling, pneumatic, and chemical transfer systems in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial maintenance applications where a 1/8 inch ID and 1/4 inch OD tubing specification is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with the fluid or gas system in which the tubing will be used. Shut off fluid supply or depressurize the system before cutting or connecting the tubing. Use a clean, sharp tube cutter or razor blade for a square cut to ensure a proper seal at compression or barb fittings. Follow all applicable codes, including IPC or IFGC where relevant, for the specific system type.
