A seamless FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) Teflon encapsulation fully encloses a Viton or silicone elastomer core, delivering the chemical inertness of solid PTFE combined with the elasticity and compression recovery of an elastomeric core. It carries an 80-durometer hardness rating, classified as hard.
