The VALUE COLLECTION TEV80214 is a Dash 214 O-ring constructed with a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) FEP encapsulation over a Viton or silicone elastomer core. It measures 1 inch inside diameter, 1.25 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross section. The seamless Teflon FEP encapsulation fully encloses the core, combining the chemical and temperature resistance of solid PTFE with the elasticity and recovery of a true elastomeric seal. Rated hard at 80 Shore hardness, this O-ring handles a working temperature range of -75 degrees F to 400 degrees F. It is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics wherever aggressive media or wide thermal cycling demands a higher-performance seal than standard nitrile or EPDM.
