The VALUE COLLECTION TEV80023 is a Dash 023 O-ring manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene-encapsulated Viton (fluoroelastomer), providing a round cross-section seal with a hard 80 durometer hardness rating. The encapsulated construction combines the chemical resistance of PTFE on the outer layer with the elasticity and compression set resistance of Viton beneath, making this O-ring well suited for aggressive fluid and chemical service. Inside diameter measures 1.0630 inches, outside diameter measures 1.1880 inches, and cross-section thickness is 0.0625 inches (1/16 inch). Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians typically specify this type of seal where standard nitrile or EPDM O-rings cannot survive the service environment.
