The ring features a 1.75-inch inside diameter, a 2.125-inch outside diameter, and a 0.1875-inch cross-section thickness. A seamless FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) Teflon shell completely encapsulates a silicone elastomer core, combining the broad chemical resistance of solid PTFE with the compression recovery and elasticity of silicone. It is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance trades where aggressive media or wide temperature swings rule out standard nitrile or EPDM seals.
