The seamless Teflon FEP outer shell completely encloses the core material, combining the broad chemical and temperature resistance of solid PTFE with the elasticity and recovery properties of silicone. This round cross-section O-ring measures 0.500 inches inside diameter, 0.688 inches outside diameter, and 0.094 inches thick, with a hardness rating of 70 Shore. It is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications in plumbing, chemical handling, food processing equipment, and HVAC fluid systems where aggressive media or wide temperature swings rule out standard elastomer seals.
