The VALUE COLLECTION STC2008 is a cobalt M42 T-slot cutter designed for milling T-slots in machine tool tables, fixtures, and workholding components. The cutter measures 2.5 inches in diameter with a 0.5 inch cutting width and mounts on a 1 inch diameter shank. The M42 cobalt high-speed steel construction provides elevated heat and wear resistance compared to standard M2 HSS, making it well suited for harder workpiece materials and higher-feed applications. A staggered 12-tooth configuration reduces cutting forces and helps evacuate chips cleanly through the full slot depth.

This T-slot cutter is used in manual and CNC knee mills, horizontal mills, and machining centers where standard T-slot profiles must be cut after an initial slot has been roughed in with a standard end mill. It is appropriate for production shops, toolrooms, and maintenance departments machining T-slots in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and similar materials.
