The VALUE COLLECTION ST07S0120 is a bridge reamer designed to enlarge and align drilled holes in structural steel, plate, and fabricated assemblies. Built from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it delivers reliable cutting performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The reamer measures 1-5/16 inches in diameter with a 7-3/8 inches flute length and a 13 inches overall length. A No. 4 Morse Taper shank seats securely in compatible machine spindles, and the five-flute spiral configuration provides stable material removal. Licensed machinists and ironworkers use this tool in bridge fabrication, structural steel erection, and heavy equipment maintenance applications.
This bridge reamer is suited for through-hole alignment work where bolt holes in mating structural members must be brought to final size and concentricity. The left-hand spiral flute geometry pulls chips away from the cutting edge on a right-hand cut, reducing chip packing in deep holes. It is commonly used in field and shop operations involving structural steel connections, gusset plates, and heavy fabricated weldments where precise hole sizing is required before fastener installation.
Designed for use in any machine spindle or portable magnetic drill accepting a No. 4 Morse Taper shank. Suitable for bridge reaming, structural steel fabrication, and heavy industrial hole alignment applications.
This reamer is installed and operated by machinists, ironworkers, or qualified metal fabricators. Secure the Morse Taper shank fully into the spindle socket before operation and confirm the drift slot is accessible for removal. Always reduce spindle speed relative to a standard twist drill of the same diameter when reaming, and apply cutting fluid appropriate for the workpiece material. Never attempt to ream a hole more than a small fractional increment larger than the drilled pilot diameter in a single pass.
