The VALUE COLLECTION SS-MBT-FT6-MN4 is a stainless steel compression tube male branch tee designed for instrumentation, process, and fluid handling systems that require a reliable three-way connection. Configured with compression ends on two ports and a male NPT threaded end on the third, this fitting accepts 3/8 inch tube outside diameter on the compression connections and 1/4 inch male NPT on the threaded branch. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel to ASTM A182, ASTM A276, and ASTM A479 standards, it delivers corrosion resistance suitable for demanding environments. Overall length is 1.2 inches. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working on tubing systems in industrial, HVAC, or process applications are the typical installers.
This branch tee fitting is used where a tubing run must branch off to a threaded port, such as connecting to a pressure gauge, sensor, or valve in a compressed air, hydraulic, or process fluid line. The compression-by-compression-by-MNPT configuration makes it well suited for stainless steel tubing installations in both commercial and industrial settings. It is sold individually and carries a minimum order quantity of one unit, making it practical for single-fitting service and repair work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit compression fitting for stainless steel tubing systems using 3/8 inch tube outside diameter. Cross-references to Swagelok part number SS-600-3TTM.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified instrumentation technician following applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and isolate the tubing system fully before disassembling any fittings. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including a clean, square cut and deburring before insertion into the fitting body. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as excess torque can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
