The VALUE COLLECTION SM26N11 is a No. 11 taper pin reamer designed to enlarge, finish, and shape tapered holes to precise dimensional tolerances. Manufactured from high-speed steel (HSS), it delivers consistent cutting performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The reamer features helical fluting for smooth chip evacuation and a right-hand cutting direction. The small end diameter measures 0.706 inches and the large end measures 0.878 inches, giving a taper rate of 1:48. Overall length is 11.25 inches with a flute length of 8.25 inches. The straight shank measures 0.75 inches in diameter for secure chuck or collet mounting. This tool is installed by machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians performing precision hole work.
The SM26N11 is suited for general-purpose hole enlarging and finishing operations where a standard No. 11 taper pin fit is required. Typical applications include preparing taper pin holes in shafts, collars, hubs, and mechanical assemblies across manufacturing, maintenance, and repair environments. The bright, uncoated finish makes it easy to inspect cutting edge condition during use. Left-hand spiral fluting combined with right-hand cutting pulls chips away from the workpiece for a cleaner finish in blind or through-hole applications.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or production taper pin reamer conforming to No. 11 taper pin standards. Fits applications requiring a 1:48 taper rate with a small end of 0.706 inches and a large end of 0.878 inches.
This reamer is intended for use by qualified machinists and maintenance technicians operating drill presses, lathes, or milling machines. Secure the straight shank firmly in a chuck or collet before operation and verify spindle runout is within acceptable tolerance to avoid bell-mouthing the hole. Power down and lock out the machine before changing or inspecting the tool. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve surface finish.
