The VALUE COLLECTION SM2300204 is a spiral shell reamer designed for precision hole finishing in metalworking applications. Built from high-speed steel, this reamer measures 2.0625 inches in diameter with an overall length of 3.75 inches. It features a spiral flute geometry with a left-hand spiral direction and right-hand cutting direction, a combination that reduces chatter and produces a smooth, accurate bore. The 1.25-inch center hole is sized for No. 9 arbor compatibility. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this style of reamer to bring drilled or bored holes to final tolerance with consistent surface finish.
Shell reamers are standard tooling in machine shops, maintenance repair operations, and production environments where precise hole sizing is required. The SM2300204 is suited for use on drill presses, lathes, and milling machines when paired with the appropriate No. 9 arbor. It is appropriate for reaming ferrous and non-ferrous metals where a 2-1/16-inch finished bore diameter is required. Package quantity is one piece.
Designed for use with a No. 9 arbor. Suitable for drill presses, lathes, and milling machines configured for shell reamer tooling with a matching arbor.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with reaming operations. Secure the reamer firmly to a properly sized No. 9 arbor before mounting in the machine spindle. Always power down and lock out the machine before changing tooling. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve bore finish.
