The VALUE COLLECTION SIW8X0800-100BX is an M8 internal tooth lock washer manufactured from grade 18-8 austenitic stainless steel, classified as material grade A2. With an inside diameter of 8.4mm, an outside diameter of 15mm, and a thickness of 0.8mm, this washer seats cleanly under an M8 fastener head or nut to resist loosening caused by vibration and torque relaxation. The serrated internal teeth bite into both the mating surface and the fastener bearing face, creating mechanical resistance against rotation. This part ships uncoated. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per package, it is suited for production assembly, maintenance shops, and field service kits that require reliable fastener retention in corrosive or wet environments.
This lock washer is used in applications where stainless steel hardware is required for corrosion resistance, including marine, food-processing, chemical, and outdoor structural assemblies. The internal tooth design makes it appropriate for use in confined bolt patterns where an external tooth washer would overhang adjacent surfaces or interfere with close-tolerance assemblies. Electricians, pipefitters, millwrights, and general maintenance technicians commonly use internal tooth lock washers of this type when securing electrical enclosures, panel hardware, pipe hangers, and equipment mounting brackets with M8 fasteners.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use lock washer for M8 threaded fastener assemblies requiring an internal tooth design with an 8.4mm inside diameter and 15mm outside diameter.
Install this washer between the fastener bearing surface and the mating material before final torque is applied. Ensure the mating surfaces are clean and free of debris so the serrated teeth can engage fully. When assembling stainless steel fasteners, use appropriate anti-seize compound on threads to prevent galling, and apply torque according to the fastener specification for the assembly. Do not reuse lock washers that have been fully compressed or show visible tooth deformation.
