The VALUE COLLECTION SFRW1 is an open, flanged miniature ball bearing designed for precision rotating applications where compact size and reliable load handling are required. Built with a stainless steel housing, this single-row bearing carries a static load capacity of 16 pounds and a dynamic load capacity of 52 pounds. The flanged design seats securely in a housing bore, resisting axial displacement without additional retention hardware. Rated ABEC-5, this bearing meets tighter dimensional tolerances than standard ABEC-1 or ABEC-3 grades, making it appropriate for applications where runout and noise levels matter. Maintenance technicians, OEM assemblers, and precision equipment repair techs typically work with bearings in this class.
This miniature ball bearing is suited for small motor shafts, instrument drives, light-duty spindles, and similar precision mechanisms found in HVAC damper actuators, small pump assemblies, fan blade hubs, and electronic equipment. The 0.055-inch round bore accepts small-diameter shafts directly. The flange outside diameter of 0.234 inches allows the bearing to shoulder against a counterbored housing face, simplifying installation and alignment in tight assemblies. Its open construction means lubrication access is straightforward, and the bearing can be relubricated in the field if the application demands it.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service bearing for precision small-shaft applications requiring a flanged miniature ball bearing with a 0.055-inch bore, 0.1875-inch OD, and ABEC-5 rating.
Installation should be performed by qualified technicians familiar with precision bearing handling. De-energize and lock out any equipment before removing the old bearing. Press or seat the bearing using a properly sized driver that contacts only the outer race — never strike the inner race directly, as this can damage the balls or races. Ensure the mating shaft and housing bore are clean, free of burrs, and within manufacturer tolerances before seating the new bearing.
