The VALUE COLLECTION SC10100200 is a single-flute, high-speed steel countersink designed for right-hand cutting operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. With a 100-degree included angle and a 2-inch head diameter, this tool creates clean, properly angled recesses for flat-head fasteners in steel, aluminum, and similar materials. The 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank provides a secure grip in standard drill chucks and milling machine collets. The bright, uncoated finish is appropriate for general-purpose countersinking where coating is not required. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians are the typical users for this tool.
This countersink is suited for single-end countersinking tasks in both job-shop and production environments. The 100-degree included angle accommodates fastener head geometries that fall outside the more common 82-degree and 90-degree standards, making it useful for aerospace-style or specialty hardware installations. No pilot is included, so the operator centers the tool by process or fixturing. The tool is designed for use in manual or CNC drilling and milling setups where a straight-cylindrical shank is required.
Designed as a general-purpose countersink compatible with standard drill presses, milling machines, and CNC setups that accept a 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for countersinking applications requiring a 100-degree included angle.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before powering the spindle, and verify that the workpiece is firmly fixtured to prevent movement during cutting. Apply appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve finish quality. Follow all machine-specific RPM recommendations and OSHA guarding requirements when operating this tool.
