The VALUE COLLECTION SC05879325 is a Type C rotary tool holder bushing used in machine tool setups to locate and support cutting tools within a drill jig or fixture. It features a 0.5000 inch inside diameter and a 0.7500 inch outside diameter, with a length under head of 2.25 inches. The head thickness measures 0.1875 inches. A 1.875 inch slot along the body allows the bushing to be removed and repositioned without fully extracting it from the liner, which is the defining characteristic of the Type C renewable slip-fixed design. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and fixture builders install this bushing in production drilling and reaming operations where repeatable tool guidance is required.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jig fixtures across light and heavy manufacturing environments. It fits standard liner bushings sized for 0.75 inch outside diameter renewable bushings. The slotted body makes it appropriate for applications where the bushing must be swapped between operations at the same hole location, such as a drill-then-ream sequence. It is sold individually and is intended for direct installation into a compatible press-fit liner already seated in the jig plate.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-install Type C renewable slip-fixed drill bushing for use with standard liner bushings sized to accept a 0.75 inch outside diameter renewable bushing body.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Before seating or removing the bushing, ensure the drill press or machining center is powered down and the spindle is fully stopped. The bushing is dropped into a compatible press-fit liner and rotated to lock; the slot aligns with a lock screw or locking mechanism on the liner to retain it during the operation. Do not force the bushing into a liner with a non-matching bore, as this will damage the liner seat and compromise tool guidance accuracy.
