The VALUE COLLECTION S04065017 is a crimped brass-coated steel wheel brush designed for deburring, surface cleaning, and light material removal on metal, wood, and composite workpieces. The brush measures 2 inches in outside diameter with a 3/8 inches arbor hole for direct mounting on bench grinders, die grinders, and rotary tools. Crimped steel fill wire at 0.007 inches filament diameter delivers consistent, moderate-pressure abrasion without gouging softer substrates. Rated at 4,500 RPM, the brush suits production and maintenance environments where surface prep speed matters. The brass coating on the steel wire adds corrosion resistance and reduces wire breakage during extended use. Machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators commonly reach for this style of wheel brush in shop and field settings.
This wheel brush fits standard bench grinder and rotary tool spindles that accept a 3/8 inches arbor. The 9/32 inches face width and 3/8 inches trim length make it well suited for cleaning weld seams, removing rust and scale from flat stock, and prepping pipe ends or fitting surfaces before assembly. The compact 2 inches diameter allows controlled access to narrow channels and recessed areas where larger brushes cannot reach. It is sold individually with no shank included, so a compatible arbor or mandrel is required for installation.
Designed for use with bench grinders, angle grinders, and rotary tools that accept a 3/8 inches arbor hole mounting. No shank is included; a compatible arbor or mandrel adapter is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician or machinist following the tool manufacturer's arbor and guard requirements. Always power down and disconnect or de-energize the grinder or rotary tool before mounting or removing the brush. Confirm the spindle speed rating of your tool does not exceed the 4,500 RPM maximum of this brush before operating. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves, as wire bristles can shed during break-in and at end of service life.
