The VALUE COLLECTION S04064754 is a 5-inch diameter arbor-hole wheel brush designed for deburring, surface prep, cleaning, and rust or scale removal on metal workpieces. It features a crimped wire fill made from brass-coated steel, which provides moderate aggression and good corrosion resistance on the fill material itself. The brush mounts via a 3/4-inch arbor hole and is rated to a maximum of 6,000 RPM. With a 1-inch face width and a trim length of approximately 1-3/32 inches, it delivers consistent contact across a surface. It is typically installed and operated by machinists, fabricators, maintenance technicians, and industrial tradespeople.
This wheel brush is suited for benchtop grinders, pedestal grinders, and arbor-mount power tools found in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and industrial service environments. It handles light to medium surface conditioning tasks on steel, iron, and similar ferrous workpieces. Applications include weld seam cleaning, paint and coating removal, and general surface blending. No shank is included, so a compatible arbor or adapter is required for installation. The brush ships as a single unit.
Designed for use with arbor-hole bench grinders and pedestal grinders that accept a 3/4-inch arbor mount and operate at or below 6,000 RPM.
Installation is performed by securing the brush onto a compatible arbor shaft using the appropriate flanges and nut. Always power down and lock out the grinder before mounting or removing the brush. Verify that the grinder's rated spindle speed does not exceed the brush's 6,000 RPM maximum before operation. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required whenever operating wire wheel brushes.
