The VALUE COLLECTION RVB22-10 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 4 AWG copper wire. The terminal measures 1.799 inches in overall length and 0.65 inches in ring width, with a copper contact and yellow vinyl insulation. It accepts a 3/8 inch stud and carries a contact thickness of 0.067 inches. This type of terminal is commonly installed by electricians, electrical contractors, and maintenance technicians when terminating heavy-gauge wire to bus bars, battery posts, grounding lugs, or similar threaded fastener connections in electrical panels and equipment.
The RVB22-10 is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical applications where a secure, vibration-resistant ring termination is required on 4 AWG wire. The partial insulation provides grip and strain relief at the barrel while leaving the ring exposed for direct metal-to-metal contact at the stud. Typical install scenarios include panel wiring, battery cable terminations, grounding assemblies, and equipment bonding connections.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-use ring terminal for 4 AWG wire applications requiring a 3/8 inch stud size in crimp-style electrical terminations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before terminating any ring terminal. Use a properly calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the wire gauge to ensure a gas-tight crimp and avoid cold or partial crimps. Do not solder over a crimped connection, as this can introduce brittleness at the barrel.
