The VALUE COLLECTION RNYD5-5 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for secure crimp connections on 12 to 10 AWG copper conductors. The terminal body is copper with a TiN (titanium nitride) contact plating for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. A yellow nylon insulation sleeve partially covers the barrel, providing visual wire-gauge identification and basic insulation protection at the connection point. Overall length is 1.024 inches and ring width is 0.374 inches, sized for a No. 10 stud or M5 fastener. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install these terminals during panel wiring, equipment hookups, and control circuit terminations where a secure, semi-insulated ring lug is required.
These ring terminals are suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, HVAC control wiring, panel connections, and general equipment terminations where 12 or 10 AWG wire is present. The No. 10 stud size is common in terminal blocks, motor starters, and control boards. Each package contains 50 terminals, making them practical for service vans, panel shops, and job-site use where multiple terminations are completed in a single visit.
Designed for use with 12 to 10 AWG (4.00 to 6.00 sq mm) copper conductors and compatible with No. 10 or M5 threaded studs found in standard terminal blocks, equipment lugs, and control panels.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the 12-10 AWG range to achieve a proper mechanical and electrical crimp — do not use pliers or uncalibrated tools as an inadequate crimp can result in a high-resistance joint or pull-out failure. Inspect each crimped terminal for a complete, uniform crimp before torquing the stud fastener.
