The VALUE COLLECTION RNYD2-6 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations in electrical wiring applications. It accepts 16 to 14 AWG conductors (1.50 to 2.50 sq mm) and features a copper contact with a TiN (titanium nitride) plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The nylon insulation sleeve provides partial coverage at the barrel entry point. At 1.094 inches in overall length and 0.472 inches in ring width, this terminal fits a 1/4-inch (M6) stud. Electricians and panel wiring technicians use these terminals to create secure, code-compliant ring-lug connections on control panels, equipment grounds, and branch circuit terminations.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, including control wiring, grounding applications, and equipment hookups where a 1/4-inch or M6 stud mounting point is required. The blue color coding aligns with the 16 to 14 AWG wire gauge range, allowing technicians to quickly identify the correct terminal size during installation. Sold in a package quantity of 100, this terminal is appropriate for service vans, panel shops, or production wiring environments where volume use is expected.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ring terminal for use with 16 to 14 AWG wiring on 1/4-inch or M6 stud termination points in standard electrical panel, grounding, and equipment wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for insulated ring terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range to achieve a full, gas-tight crimp. Do not over-crimp or use pliers as a substitute for a proper crimping tool, as this can damage the nylon insulation sleeve and compromise the connection.
