The VALUE COLLECTION RNYBS14-6-C is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations on 6 AWG copper conductors. The terminal features a copper contact barrel and a blue nylon insulation sleeve that partially covers the barrel, providing basic protection at the connection point while keeping the ring lug exposed for fastening. At 1.606 inches in overall length and 0.472 inches in ring width, this terminal is sized for 1/4-inch stud mounting. It is well suited for electrical panels, equipment grounding runs, battery connections, and other fixed-wiring applications where a secure, low-resistance ring termination is required. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This ring terminal is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work wherever a 6 AWG conductor must be landed on a 1/4-inch stud or bolt. Common applications include grounding conductors, battery cable terminations, bus bar connections, and power distribution wiring. The blue color coding aligns with standard industry color-coding conventions for the 6 AWG wire gauge range, making wire identification faster during installation and inspection. The nylon partial insulation resists abrasion and helps prevent accidental contact with adjacent conductors at the terminal entry point.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp ring terminal for use with 6 AWG conductors and 1/4-inch mounting studs in standard electrical termination applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any terminations. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the terminal type and wire gauge to ensure a proper crimp — do not use pliers or non-rated tools, as an improper crimp can result in a high-resistance joint or pulled-out conductor. Inspect the completed crimp for full barrel compression and confirm the ring is seated flat against the stud before torquing the fastener.
