The VALUE COLLECTION RNYB22-10 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations on 4 AWG conductors. The copper contact provides reliable electrical conductivity, while the yellow nylon insulation sleeve offers partial protection at the barrel end. At 1.791 inches long and 0.65 inches wide, this terminal accepts a 3/8-inch stud and delivers a compact, secure connection point. It is used in electrical panels, control wiring, and equipment grounding applications where a dependable ring-style lug is required. Electricians and panel builders install these terminals using a ratchet crimp tool sized for the AWG range.
This terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical work where 4 AWG wire must terminate to a stud, bus bar, or lug block. The 3/8-inch stud size fits standard equipment terminals commonly found in load centers, motor connections, and grounding assemblies. The yellow color coding follows conventional AWG identification practices, helping technicians quickly verify correct terminal selection during assembly. The partial nylon insulation reduces the risk of incidental contact with adjacent conductors at the barrel without fully enclosing the ring barrel area.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-fit ring terminal for electrical panels, motor terminations, and grounding applications requiring a 4 AWG crimp lug with a 3/8-inch stud opening.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for wire terminations and grounding conductors. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage with a meter before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratchet crimp tool rated for 4 AWG terminals to ensure a full, gas-tight crimp. Do not re-crimp a terminal that has already been fully seated, as this can deform the barrel and compromise the connection.
