The VALUE COLLECTION RNBS8-6 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 8 AWG copper wire. It provides a secure, low-resistance mechanical and electrical bond between a conductor and a threaded stud or lug. The copper contact material ensures excellent conductivity, while the crimp-style termination eliminates the need for soldering and delivers consistent, repeatable results. At 0.917 inches in overall length and 0.472 inches in ring width, this terminal is sized for 1/4-inch stud hardware. It meets CSA, cUL, UL, and RoHS requirements, making it suitable for use in installations where listed components are required by code.
This ring terminal is used in electrical panel wiring, grounding applications, motor connections, and general power distribution work where 8 AWG conductors terminate at a bolted lug or stud. It is appropriate for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical assemblies. Licensed electricians and panel-shop technicians will find this terminal suitable for field wiring, equipment grounding, and wire harness assembly where a non-insulated barrel is acceptable or preferred. The 1/4-inch stud size fits standard grounding bars, bussing, and equipment terminals commonly found in electrical enclosures.
Designed for use with 8 AWG wire on 1/4-inch stud terminations. Suitable for standard crimp ring terminal applications in electrical panels, grounding assemblies, and power distribution equipment.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any ring terminal. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the wire gauge and terminal barrel size to ensure a proper mechanical crimp. Do not re-crimp or re-use a terminal once it has been crimped to a conductor.
