The VALUE COLLECTION RNBS38-6 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style connections on 2 AWG copper wire. It provides a reliable, low-resistance termination point for heavy-gauge electrical circuits commonly found in commercial and industrial power distribution, HVAC control wiring, and electrical panel applications. The terminal measures 1.535 inches in overall length and 0.602 inches in ring width, with a copper contact construction that supports conductivity and durability under continuous load. A 1/4-inch stud size makes it compatible with standard bolt-and-lug termination points used across a wide range of electrical assemblies. Electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this component.
This ring terminal is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations where a permanent crimp termination on 2 AWG conductors is required. Typical applications include grounding connections, bus bar terminations, battery cable ends, and large conductor splices in electrical panels, motor starters, and power distribution equipment. The non-insulated design allows for post-crimp inspection of the conductor and is appropriate where insulation sleeving or heat shrink is applied separately by the installer.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ring terminal for crimp applications on 2 AWG conductors requiring a 1/4-inch stud termination.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a properly calibrated crimping tool rated for 2 AWG terminals to achieve a secure, low-resistance connection. Do not solder over a crimped terminal, as this can introduce brittleness at the barrel junction.
