The VALUE COLLECTION RNB8-16 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire termination on 8 AWG copper conductors. It provides a secure, low-resistance mechanical and electrical connection between a wire end and a stud-mounted lug or bus point. The terminal is constructed with a copper contact rated for the current-carrying demands typical of 8 AWG wire. At 1.949 inches long and 1.244 inches wide, the ring fits a 5/8-inch stud. This terminal is installed by electricians and experienced technicians working on control panels, HVAC equipment wiring, power distribution, and similar trade applications where a permanent, code-compliant termination is required.
This ring terminal suits residential and commercial wiring applications where 8 AWG conductors terminate at bus bars, grounding lugs, motor terminals, or panel studs. The non-insulated design is appropriate when the installation point provides its own insulation or protective cover, or where the installer adds heat-shrink or another protective sleeve after crimping. Its 5/8-inch ring accommodates standard stud sizes found across a broad range of electrical and mechanical equipment. Minimum order quantity is 10 pieces.

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating any wire. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool rated for non-insulated terminals at 8 AWG to achieve a proper mechanical crimp; do not use pliers or uncalibrated tools as an incomplete crimp increases resistance and creates a fire risk. Inspect the crimped barrel for deformation or cracking before torquing the ring onto the stud.
