The VALUE COLLECTION RNB70-16 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for heavy-duty crimp connections in electrical wiring applications. Built with a copper contact, this terminal accepts 2/0 AWG wire and fits a 5/8-inch stud. It measures 2.402 inches in overall length and 1.26 inches in ring width, with a material thickness of 0.079 inches. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this type of terminal when terminating large-gauge conductors at bus bars, battery banks, grounding lugs, and high-current distribution points. Its non-insulated design allows for post-crimp inspection of the conductor and is compatible with heat-shrink sleeving where insulation is required.
This ring terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations where 2/0 AWG conductors must be reliably terminated at stud-mount connection points. Typical applications include main service panel wiring, generator grounding, battery cable terminations, and marine or automotive high-current circuits. The copper contact material provides strong conductivity and resistance to oxidation over time. Installers working to NEC standards will find this terminal appropriate for copper conductor termination in high-ampacity runs.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp ring terminal for use with 2/0 AWG copper conductors on 5/8-inch stud terminals in high-current electrical applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician following applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a ratcheting or hydraulic crimp tool rated for 2/0 AWG terminals to achieve a proper crimp — do not use pliers or undersized tooling. Where insulation is required over the bare terminal, apply an appropriate heat-shrink sleeve after crimping.
